Foreign Countries confirm their interest in the event SEATEC continues its way forward in the direction of quality
Seatec 2010- the International Exhibition of technology, subcontracting and design for boats, mega yachts and ships - organised by CarraraFiere at CarraraFiere exhibition centre in Marina di Carrara, has achieved some important objectives in terms of: the quality of the visitors, the trust of the shipyards, an excellent range of products on display. This is what emerged from the official data (753 exhibitors - including 35% foreigners - and 8.754 visitors including 5% from abroad) now being certified by the IFS according to UFI standards, adopted by the IFBSO (International Federation of Boat Show Organizers) of which Seatec has been part for the past three years. Renewed success of all competitions and side events.
Significant results for the eighth Seatec that confirmed its position as a technology showcase of prime importance in the international marine industry. This is confirmed by the official data now being certified by the IFS according to UFI standards (the Global Association of the exhibition Industry), adopted by the IFBSO (International Federation of Boat Show Organizers) too, which Seatec is part of, and that will be certified by the ISF (the Institute for the Certification of Trade Fair Statistical Data).
"With 41% of the exhibitors concentrated in the technology, accessories and services area, the participation of foreign exhibitors from countries such as China, Korea, Australia and New Zealand, and 30% of visitors from the shipyards, with the main countries producing yachts at the fore, the eighth Seatec has achieved three important objectives: the exhibition confirms the hard work carried out at home and abroad, it is once again an excellent showcase with a high technology content as well as a success with its target audience" said Paris Mazzanti, CarraraFiere's General Manager.
"The share of foreign visitors - 5% out of a total of 8.754 - and the participation of foreign delegations from Poland, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Croatia and Turkey, Korea, China, Slovenia and South Africa, is an important note for this year's fair - said Giorgio Bianchini, CararraFiere chairman.
